A Marion landmark, reimagined.
A piece of the City, restored.
The former Jones Middle School is being thoughtfully converted into approximately 80 brand-new apartment homes and 56 cottages — modern finishes, real amenities, and essential value built inside walls that Marion has known for generations. This isn't just a place to live. It's a piece of this city, restored.
A place Marion already knows.
For decades, Jones Junior High School was a fixture of Marion community life. Named after Lloyd D. Jones, a figure in Marion's civic history, the building served generations of Marion students as one of three junior high schools operated by Marion Community Schools. When the district reorganized, Jones was consolidated and eventually closed — a quiet landmark waiting for its next chapter.
THE PAST
Same walls.
New life.
Haven is the rebirth of that landmark. The former Jones Middle School building is being rehabilitated into approximately 80 brand-new apartment homes — preserving the building's place in Marion's story while giving it a purpose fit for today.
THE BUILDING
The same grounds.
A new purpose.
The sprawling athletic fields where Jones students once played are being given new life as the heart of Haven Marion's outdoor community — 56 cottage-style homes and shared amenity spaces nestled on the same grounds that generations of Marion kids called their own. The school may be gone, but the land carries its history forward.
THE GROUNDS
THE PRESENT
Where history meets home.
With the conclusion of the redevelopment, Marion will have more places to live in a place the’ve known for generations. This isn't just a place to live. It's a piece of this city, restored.
